NO MORE BACKDOOR COVERS!! Seriously, I am sick of them. Having said that, I do want to add, always buy the half point when possible in small lines like 3.5 or 7.5. The reason being is teams would need a full score to cover that half point whether it be a field goal or touchdown. It’s just not worth it so buy those half points!
This week’s free pick comes in Utah when Texas Tech comes to town. Big Noon Kickoff is also coming along for this big matchup. I see there are a lot of networks that really like Texas Tech here. They do not know Utah football like we do. Their defense has always been one of the best in FBS and their offense took a serious upgrade this year. Utah is one of the toughest environments to play in no matter which stadium or arena you are at there. John Henry Daily is tied for the most sacks in the FBS so far with 5. Texas Tech QB has only been sacked 7 times this year so far but he has not seen pass pressure like this yet. Get him off his game in that loud stadium and its going to be hard to catch up while throwing picks to the awesome secondary.
